Hello Internets,

While it may appear that I have abandoned my post, I still visit DA frequently, looking at all the lovely talent that arrives in my inbox. I usually only have time to drop a ninja fav or two before I get distracted by something shiny. You can find a few new photos of mine over on my Flickr account. I don't intend to stop posting here, but if you have a Flickr account, feel free to say hi.

I've got a couple people to thank for bringing me out of the woodwork of late. It used to be that DeviantArt was my primary inspiration in capturing new photos until I just kind of lost my focus. I miss that.

I'd really like to thank xelf, who spontaneously bought me a subscription right around the holiday season. Now I've got to put it to good use! If you've got a moment, check out Xelf's stuff. He's both an artist and a photographer, which usually makes for an interesting watch.

for including me on their team. The work we're doing in this group has done wonders for viewing my own work with a more critical eye. If you're a fan of nature shots, you'll probably be interested in this new group. It's a little extra weight in your message center, but some of the shots coming through are pretty sweet.

P.S. I got a brief start on it yesterday, but I plan to go through my gallery and scrap/delete a bunch of old stuff that I no longer like (to make room for new stuff). I really hope the items I move to scraps don't re-appear on your watch list. That'd be kinda embarrassing. xD

Oh my god. GO. SEE. THIS. MOVIE.

I haven't left a theater this satisfied since The Matrix. Finally, something original out of Hollywood. Boy, the studios that lost Neill Blomkamp as their director for the Halo movie sure screwed up.

I'm just getting started on the site, but I've been loving the concept so far.

Just wanted to give a shout out to kkart for the recent feature and narmansk8 for the suggestion. If you haven't already, I highly recommend you check out both their galleries, as they frequent some of the same western landscapes that you all are so fond of.

I'm still in disbelief that my message box went from about 3 to over 700 in one day. O_o Thanks, all.

Sorry for being rather slow lately. Haven't been in the mood to work on photography for the last month or two, but this may be the kick in the butt I needed. Updates soon.
