You guys ever see a rainbow in IR? Yeah, me neither. It looks like a rainbow... only different.  You can see Desert View along the downward slope, about a third of the way from the right of the image. Comments aww this is really dreamlike. its got a strange mood. but very good

sometime go to Lipan and hike down to the saddle.
It's a tough little hike, but the view is great (you look up at the Watchtower). I am back in Flag this week. I've had an offer on my condo and will be working to get everything in order. My furniture is out. Perhaps Eli will have us for dinner. His father put a 7ft. TV in the basement. Give a call tomorrow nite.  ow gosh!

 I wish I could make it over to the North Rim more. I've only been there twice, actually. I don't really count House Rock Valley and the Marble Canyon regions. But with gas the way it is and the distance to drive all the way around, I'm better off hiking there. ¬_¬ Agh! Sorry about the double-post. DA gave me an error on both attempts to respond, so I figured neither of them posted. O_o I had no idea I was responding to this particular comment with that particular response, either. W/e, weirdness must be expected on the eve of v5... moving onwards...
I will do that. Lipan point... is that Tanner? I've been down there before... it really is a long hike down to the river. I'll give you a ring tomorrow. I get off around 4:30ish.  This has definitely made it into my favorites of yours- such a beautiful, unique shot. I love the rainbow and the patch of rain in the background. The crispness of the rocks and the monotone colors are beautiful, the whole place just looks so surreal, like a lot of your shots. One day I'd love to travel to these places of wonder~ x3 <3
