Animal Spirits

I've been revisiting some of my infrared work from earlier in the year. This was taken during an energetic spring storm along the little Colorado river in northern Arizona.

This image feels oddly appropriate and speaks to me on several personal levels right now. I usually don't photograph subjects with meaning or possible metaphorical interpretations, so this is a bit unusual for me. That being said (I've already muddied the waters with the cliche and hurried title), I'll restrain myself and let you find your own meaning.
