There's no real requirement, but they recommend a width of about 400px or else you risk chopping off some of your ID on the front page. Of course, it depends on what resolution you're browsing at as to whether you'll see any cropping. Just keep it in the general vicinity of 400px wide and you should be fine. The one you just submitted is perfect.
